NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED FY 2026–2027 BUDGET

The Town Council of the Town of Ponder, Texas, will conduct a public hearing to receive public comments regarding the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2026–2027.

Time: 6:00pm

Location: Ponder Town Hall, 102 W Bailey St Ponder, TX 76259
 

The proposed budget provides funding for the operations, programs, services, capital expenditures, debt obligations, and other municipal purposes of the Town of Ponder for Fiscal Year 2026–2027.

The proposed budget is based upon a proposed property tax rate of:

$0.694379 per $100 of taxable valuation

The proposed tax rate is the same as the Town's 2025 adopted tax rate of $0.694379 per $100 valuation, as reflected in the Town's 2026 tax-rate calculation worksheet.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend the hearing and provide comments regarding the proposed budget.

A copy of the proposed budget will be available for public inspection at Town Hall and on the Town's website in accordance with applicable law.

Following the public hearing, the Town Council may consider and take action regarding adoption of the Fiscal Year 2026–2027 Budget.
