Cost of Citation and Online Plea & Payment

To see the cost (fine/fees) for your citation or to submit a Plea and Pay your Citation online, please follow these steps:

On the Town of Ponder home page:

-CLICK "ONLINE PAYMENTS" AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN

-CLICK PAY CITATION

-CLICK CONTINUE AS GUEST

-ENTER YOUR INFORMATION AS INSTRUCTED (Enter 25- before citation# - example 25-000000) 

You can see the fine/fees for your citation, and/or you may submit a plea and pay the citation.

IMPORTANT: If you have NOT made an appearance in writing with the Court Clerk on a dismissal or compliance for your citation and YOU SUBMIT A PLEA AND PAY THE CITATION FINES/FEES ONLINE, YOUR ACTION will result in a conviction.

Court Sessions

Court Sessions are the 1st Wednesday of the month, at 4:00 p.m., with some exceptions.

The next Court Appearance Date is January 7, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.

At this time, NO Court is schedule for November, 2025.  NO COURT is scheduled for December.

Dress Code

The dress code is strictly enforced; the defendant will be asked to leave the court and return in proper attire if not in compliance with this code.

Clothing will be consistent with respect and dignity for the judicial process. Business casual is suggested. Clothing will be constructed and worn in such a manner that it is not unduly revealing or offensive.

The following clothing / accessories  Will Not Be Permitted in the Courtroom:

• Bare shoulder tops or dresses
• Bathing Suits/Swimwear                        
• Body piercings, unless they are covered
• Clothing with words or images that are obscene, profane, sexually suggestive, or related to alcohol, gangs, or drugs
• Facial piercings; remove before entering court 
• Hats/Caps
• Lingerie
• Midriff or Low Cut tops revealing bare skin
• Pajamas/Sleepwear
• Pants exposing undergarments or bare skin
• Shorts
• Halter tops
• See-through clothing
• Spaghetti straps
• Tank tops
• Tops with open backs
